MEET ANGELENE

COACH

Coming from an athletic family, I played many sports growing up. I excelled on the athletics track being the fastest at 100m sprint. My passion for tennis and elite sport provided me with the opportunity to work at the Australian Open in the Recovery Centre. I was able to work alongside physiotherapists and assist players with post-game/training hydrotherapy and recovery.

I have completed studying a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science at Deakin University majoring in Exercise Physiology and Strength and Conditioning. Being immensely passionate about sport performance and rehab I aim to educate and help people become the best versions of themselves.

My inspiration to keeping fit and healthy is my mum, who is always motivating me to go for a run and hit the gym, but also have her daughter be the best trainer. My experience in clinical pilates, coaching women during pregnancy and postnatal has enlightened me to encourage females to become stronger and confident in themselves. As I continue my coaching journey I hope to complete my Masters in Physiotherapy and achieve my career goal to become a Sports Physiotherapist.

At Pioda, I aim to share my knowledge in sport, exercise and health to create individualised programs for every person I coach. I bring energy and excitement to you so you can push yourself to be the greatest and unleash your inner athlete.
